CNN hat angekündigt, dass sie alle Aufzeichnungen von den kommenden US-Präsidentschafts-Kandidaten unter einer Creative Commons Lizenz veröffentlichen wollen.

In einem Statement sagte CNN:

«Due to the historical nature of presidential debates and the significance of these forums to the American public, CNN debate coverage will be made available without restrictions at the conclusion of each live debate.»
